Blocked Baths – Why!

There is nothing more annoying than waiting forever for a bath to empty or not empty at all.

You have probably got a blockage somewhere in the drainage system that is preventing the bath from draining out.  We have seen many blocked baths and the reasons for it have been very varied, from hair etc in the plug hole or a more serious issue further down the drainage system.

Depending on where we find the issue depends on how we fix it.

If the blockage is in the pipe work just under the bath and using a drain clearer does not work we may have to empty the bath manually by putting in a bucket and pouring down the sink.  This will us to take off the side panel of the bath and then dismantle the pipework under the bath and find the reason for the blocked bath and fix the issue.
